Onlys Music Productions Terms and Conditions:
By booking a rehearsal at Onlys Music Studio you are entering into a contract by which you are agreeing unconditionally on behalf of the band/artist to abide by the studio’s terms and conditions as detailed below:
Payments
Recording:
To secure a recording session, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Until this deposit is received, the session slot remains available for other clients. Once the deposit has been paid, your booking will be confirmed.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the session begins. If payment is not received, the session will not commence.
If a recording session runs more than 10 minutes past the scheduled end time, overtime charges will apply at an hourly rate, in addition to the standard session fee.
Mixing:
To begin any mixing project, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit based on the quoted price. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the mix. Please note that mixes will not be released until the full balance has been settled.
Each mixing project includes up to three revisions at no additional cost. If further revisions are requested beyond the third, an additional fee will be arranged to continue mixing, or we can release the preferred revision of your choice.
Mastering:
Full payment is required in advance before any mastering work can begin. If payment is not received, no work will be carried out, regardless of whether the files have been submitted.
General
Only essential personnel are permitted in the recording studio during sessions, unless otherwise approved by the attending engineer. All individuals present must follow the directions of the engineer or manager at all times. Studio equipment must not be handled unless explicitly instructed by the engineer.
Content:
Onlys Music Productions Recording Studio reserves the right to refuse service if any content promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination toward any race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected group.
The on-site engineer has full discretion to determine whether specific content (e.g., lyrics) is unacceptable. In such cases, the session may be terminated immediately without refund.
If you are unsure whether your material may fall under these restrictions, please contact us in advance to discuss your project.
Lost Property:
Onlys Music Productions Recording Studio is not responsible for any lost or unattended property on the premises. Clients are advised to keep personal belongings secure and ensure all items are taken when leaving the studio.
Food and Beverages:
A kitchen facility is available for use during session breaks, equipped with a kettle, fridge, and microwave. Clients may bring their own food and drinks or order deliveries to the studio.
Please note that food and open beverages are not permitted in the control room. Consumption is restricted to the kitchen area. Any damage caused by spills or food-related accidents will be billed to the client.
Social Media:
Onlys Music Productions may request permission to use elements of a client’s project (e.g., mixes, masters, stems, photos, or videos) for social media and website promotion. We will always credit and link to the client’s profile or website.
If you prefer that your material not be used, or wish to exclude specific content, please notify us by email.
Clients who create content within the studio (including photos, videos, or social media posts) must credit Onlys Music Recording Studio appropriately. This applies to any media that references or features work produced at our facility.
File Transfer and Storage:
All completed session files will be delivered digitally to the primary contact of the booking. Files will not be shared with any third party unless explicitly authorized by the client.
If you would like a physical copy of your files, please bring your own hardware storage device (e.g., USB drive or hard drive).
Onlys Music Productions retains session files on backup for one month following project completion. While we take precautions to preserve data, we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of stored files due to potential hardware failures, software errors, or other unforeseen issues.
We accept no liability for any data loss or corruption of audio files.
Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the studio. A designated smoking area is provided outside; please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
When entering or leaving, ensure the main door is closed securely. Any theft or damage resulting from the door being left open will be chargeable to the client.
Drugs Policy:
Onlys Music Productions operates a zero-tolerance policy on drugs and alcohol. Anyone appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied access to the studio.
If a client is found in possession of illegal substances on the premises, they will be reported to the police and asked to leave immediately without refund.
Rubbish:
We ask all clients to help keep the studio clean and tidy. Please dispose of all rubbish in the provided bins and clean up any mess made during your session. Leaving food, drinks, or litter in the studio is not permitted.
